The Marin Center Renaissance Project is a unique public and private venture to finalize the vision foreseen forty-two years ago by Frank Lloyd Wright of establishing a naturally beautiful destination for social gatherings, cultural and performing events, commercial activities and personal enjoyment. When complete, the eighty-acre Marin Center buildings and grounds will be modernized and expanded incorporating the Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium, exhibit hall, lagoon, peaceful gardens, walking paths, public art and outdoor gathering spaces. Besides enhancing the usefulness for hundreds of local organizations already regularly using the facilities, the Marin Center will create new opportunities for expanded community and cultural activities. WHO IS BEHIND THE RENAISSANCE PROJECT? The Marin Center Renaissance Partnership (MCRP) is a public/private consortium of leading individuals from the County of Marin, the Marin Community Foundation, the nonprofit Friends of Marin Center, the business community and civic leaders collectively spearheading the effort. They act through the Steering Committee and active task forces in master planning, fund development and communications. WHAT IS THE FOUNDERS CIRCLE ? The MCRP Founders Circle is a group of individuals, community organizations, businesses and foundations that support the Marin Center Renaissance through financial and in-kind contributions at the inception of the project. Levels of participation in the Founders Circle are: FOUNDERS $5,000 to $9,999 WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF FOUNDERS CIRCLE WHERE WILL CONTRIBUTIONS GO AND HOW WILL THEY BE MANAGED ?
