This input will enable the Marin Center to better serve our presenting organizations and audiences and enhance our programming.” said Mike Groza and San Rafael Mayor Al Boro, Co-Chairs of the Renaissance Partnership.

Marin Center
Renaissance Partnership Project
was initiated in 2000. It is a public and private partnership formed to develop and implement a comprehensive vision for the renewal and enhancement of the Marin Center complex. Following a series of community meetings and the development of guiding principles for the project, proposals were invited by the Renaissance Partnership from a group of thoughtfully selected, nationally known architectural firms to develop a comprehensive master plan for the 80-acre site.

The Marin County Board of Supervisors has retained architects Mark Cavagnero Associates and landscape architects Royston Hanamoto Alley & Abey to develop a master plan for the site. Working with the
20-member Steering Committee of the Marin Center Renaissance Partnership and with input from current users and the broader community, a detailed vision for enhancements and restoration of existing facilities, new buildings, environmental use, timing and costs is expected to be completed by the end of 2004.
